How are Calpurnias church’s services different than the church Scout normally goes to in To Kill a Mockingbird? Pantages Theatre Tickets

I am in the R/D part of opening a restaurant. I am thinking of a tea house with a wide varieity of teas. Also it will be an american style bistro serving Breakfast and lunch. The menu would consist of common items but with a flair. Like an eggs beneidict on grilled polenta rounds with panchetta and topped with a sundried tomatoe holindaise. Or grilled duck breast sub on onion and walnut roll. Then after lunch service is done would stay open for 1to 2 hours for tea. having several types of loose tea (15) you would be able to order tea for one or for two or three or what ever and it would include Tea, pastrys, tea sandwiches, and assorted fruits for the table. Nice and relaxed but not stuffy like an English tea service, more American. If this was in your town or nieghborhood would you go once, twice, or on a regular bases.

Once or twice maybe to impress a friend or a client – but not a regular place sounds pricey and pretentious.

sounds good! yes, i would definitely at least try it. i love tea.

Americans do not have tea houses nor do they know how to serve tea correctly or even decently. Here, you get a lukewarm pot with a teabag on the side. Dreadful.

I would LOVE to have a tea house near me. In fact I had considered opening one myself! Please do not use tea bag teas though…those are a dreadful imitation of real tea. You can speak to http://www.adagio.com they sell tea to tea houses in bulk.
