  2. banaethsgothic says:

    this is just awesome!!!

  3. bshuffett says:

I like the new singer of Theatre of Tragedy. The new singer of Nightwish and The Gathering are alright and fit the music. However, the new singer for Tristania has an unbelievably annoying voice.

  4. bshuffett says:

    They just broke up! :.(

Ok, I am American, and know someone named Angelique. Are the lyrics to this song appropriate to share with someone you love? What are they saying?

  9. FLPAN1993 says:

I wonder did TOT got the idea of this song from the character Angelique from the classic gothic horror series “Dark Shadows”?

  10. TrevorCBelmont says:

  11. Poppaea6 says:

‘come not wont to this uncouth devil!,

  12. twilightshadow134 says:

This is amazing the type of music i listen to has my name in a song, Awesome…

  13. MustizMiranda says:

The former singer of Nightwish was Tarja Turunen, and even in those times they were no gothic metal. Listen to Theatre of Tragedy, and then listen to Nightwish (even the old songs) tell me if you feel the same. Nightwish is not gothic.

  14. 1LuvsTimoK says:

i think it is funny how, for so many bands, the fans like the former singers and music before they leave the band and once a new singer comes in, nobody likes them! for example, theatre of tragedy, nightwish, and tristania.

btw: i havent heard the singer of theatre of tragedy yet cuz i still want to stick with liv kristine before listening to both her and the new singer in theatre of tragedy :D

  15. VladGoth69 says:

The whole album is great !
Theatre of tragedy with Liv Kristine rocks !
Now is just a waste of time lol.

  16. sustanzia says:

    penetrating :D

  17. hissingatrocity says:

a female voice or a female opera voice doesn’t make necessarily gothic metal. nightwish started as an acoustic project, then played power/melodic metal in the veins of stratovarius until they started to make more symponic/orchestral stuff.
i don’t mean to be rude but i’m tired of people coming and saying this i goth just because of a woman singing in it.

  18. kiinexx says:

Yah I kinda made a couple of misstakes afer I typed and sent the comment, sorry.
    Evanescence,is a pop gothic band.
But nightwish older singer did gothic metal.Like her(there) albums Ocean Born and Century Child.
But after thay fired her there two newist albums like Highest Hope and Dark Passion Day have been more pop metal with gotic theams.

I am sorry but I realy dont know there singers names…

  19. akman47 says:

i completely agree with you on this one! Lovely song :)

  20. 1666Predator1666 says:

Kiinexx learning to spell some of those bands might be a help and learning that England is part of the UK and how to spell it would be great to.

Bands like Evanescence, and Nightwish are pop bands that draw on some gothic influences but really not much to do with goth at all.

  21. kiinexx says:

Yah I Agree But The Usa Have NONE Gothic Metal Bands
I Wish Thay Would But Real Ones
Theatre Of Tragedy Is The Best I Have Heard And Nighwish Is Ok But EverScence Thay Switched Singers Its Not The Same.

And Poserse Like Devil Driver Are Just Horrable

I Notic That Gothic Metal Is Extremly Popular iN Uk,Egland,And Places Around There

  22. wotanzorz says:

No, what I’m saying is, half the people I know consider DevilDriver gothic because they wear black and leather.

  23. ibsayem1337 says:

Devildriver are mediocre sell outs that try to incorporate a “groovy sound”. I don’t remember them being goth but they might have changed their musical shift idk.

  24. wotanzorz says:

I love real gothic metal like this, not the garbage people call “goth” now such as DevilDriver.

  25. HetfieldBlanch3 says:

    I love the whole album!!!
    My favorite!
