Im recently engaged and my fiance is catholic. I am methodist but i do not study it. I havnt been to church since i was little. He wants to marry in a catholic church and i am ok with that but i dont have time to convert. He leaves very soon for the military. Am i able to marry in a catholic church without converting?
My fiance and I have this church that we like almost everything about. However, she says that the carpet color doesn’t match any of the colors she would want for our wedding. Is there not a way to hide the carpet or de-emphasize it somehow so that the colors wouldn’t clash?
Many friends of mine who are atheists or agnostic talk about wanting church weddings and even go to church or get Christened so that they are allowed (it is a requirement in many churches). What is the point of this? Also have you had this experience?
In mexico, all citizens must go to a court to get a marriage certificate to make the wedding legal. Otherwise, it’s just a ceremony in the church. Does United States Customs and Immigration consider just the church wedding a legal marriage?
