Side Story is a musical-within-a-musical comedy. Two high schools have combined to perform a one-night-only production. Over the weeks of rehearsals, 17-year-old Nate has fallen madly in love with a beautiful dancer named Taylor. He could have made a move, but each time he tried, fate worked against him in the cruellest (and funniest) of ways. Now, Nate has less than an hour until the curtain opens and his chance is gone. This is’Glee’ meets’How I Met Your Mother’, combining big dance numbers with a side splitting comedy about first love. Over the series, Nate and his friends will experience the ridiculous highs and incomparable lows of love and the theatre – from tackling the lead actor into an orchestra pit, being chased by a hungry pack of homeless men, tracking down a naked, high, moon-burnt friend and expressing your deepest feelings in front an audience of hundreds. Special thanks to The Jefferson, Parramatta Riverside Theatre and the cast & crew. Please enjoy our Side Story.

Sam Worthington interview on ROVE (live with Rove McManus) – FINAL ROVE SHOW. Sam Worthington was handpicked for AVATAR by James Cameron and made his mark internationally starring opposite Christian Bale earlier this year in “Terminator Salvation”. Sam grew up in WA, moved to Queensland and found his way down to Sydney. After doing a series of jobs including brick laying, he graduated from NIDA and acted in theatre productions. In 2000, Worthington made his feature film debut with a starring role in the Australian film “Bootmen,” in the role of Adam Garcia’s brooding older brother. His performance garnered him an Australian Film Institute (AFI) Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role. His subsequent Australian film credits include “Dirty Deeds,” with John Goodman, Toni Collette and Sam Neill, for which he earned a Film Critics Circle of Australia (FCCA) Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor; and “Gettin’ Square,” with David Wenham. He also had a small role in the World War II drama “Hart’s War,” starring Bruce Willis. It was his layered performance in Cate Shortland’s critically acclaimed and commercially successful 2004 film “Somersault” that brought Worthington international attention. He won an AFI Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role and earned his second FCCA Award nomination. In addition, the film made a clean sweep of the year’s AFI Awards, winning in all 13 film categories – a first in the awards’ history. Worthington went on to
