I aksed the local Bishop, and he refused, but surely this is illegal under the Laws of England? Can I sue them in the Court of Human Rights for this outrage? Why should the Catholic church be allowed to discriminate against gay men and women?

In a radio documentary on national broadcaster DR, the nuns from Sostrup Convent in eastern Jutland, said that Mother Theresa Brenninkmeijer, locked the senile nun outside in freezing conditions because she was disturbing their morning prayer. Once it was discovered that the elderly nun had died, they were forbidden to tell the attendant doctor or the other nuns what had happened.
Just who issues such instructions and what penalties are imposed by the church authorities if a nun does expose such shameful and criminal actions.
The Catholic Church is allowed to have discriminatory hiring practices (women are not allowed to be priests). Why is that? Why are they unlike every other corporation operating in the United States who is not allowed to deny a job to a woman simply because she is a woman?
Imagine if Wal-mart said “sorry ladies, but our corporate charter clearly states women should not have authority over men, so you can’t be a manager”
Why does the Catholic Church get special treatment? I guess money can buy you anything.
This is not stopping the politician from voting as he wishes. He or she can vote anyway they wish. But like me as a voter the church should not be forced in anyway to support an individual that does not believe in the church’s profound beliefs?
When the church supports activist priest most notably in Central America and in California (Immigration issue with “undocumented immigrants”) it seems to suite the liberals just fine. Which is right?
I agree with a lot of the Catholic beliefs.
I do NOT agree with the Catholics Church’s take on homosexuality,infant purgatory and them not ordaining women.
I’ve heard the Episcopal Church is basically the same as the CC except they don’t recognize the Pope and they are more lenient.

Today I saw on TV an item about a lot of Roman Catholic churches in the US have to close down, because they have too much debts, because they have to pay for the child abuse the priests did. Why is it that the church has to pay for this? If I do something criminal my employer doesn’t have to pay for it? What is the official reason that this is handled differently?
