The Piazza Navona is situated in one of the Italian capital’s most beautiful squares in a city that has always been a dream destination for travelers from all over the world. Three large fountains adorn the large oval square that was built above the ruins of a Domitian stadium that dates back to the 3rd century AD The Romans had a special regard for fountains, the most famous of which is the Fontana di Trevi. It was designed by Nicolo Salvi for the facade of the Palazzo Poli. The Via Appia Antica was the most important street in ancient Rome. It connected the southern area with the main city and even today, one can walk over its ancient cobblestones. Pope Gregory XIII had the Palazzo Del Quirinale built as his summer residence but it was not long after that the Italian monarchs acquired it as their Renaissance palace. Today it is the residence of Italy’s President and the daily changing of the guards ceremony is still a popular attraction. The 17th century St. Peter’s Square is the most beautiful square in the world and is situated in the centre of the Vatican, an autonomous Church State in the heart of Rome that also contains the imposing and breathtaking Petersdom, the largest Christian church in the world. Il lavoro fatto sul Jet dei Forelli ha impressionato Salvatore che ha deciso di mandare CJ a Liberty City per farla pagare a Forelli una volta per tutte. Con la scusa di una scorta CJ farà fuggire da Las Venturas Maccer, Kent Paul e Rosie. Finita la clip dirigiamoci all’aeroporto dove uno Shamal è pronto per farci affrontare il viaggio sino a Liberty City, pilotiamo l’aereo fino al punto segnato e dopo la clip cominciamo a fare del Marco’s Bistro un cimitero. Sul piano in cui saremo ci saranno quattro persone più altre due che arriveranno dalle scale, fatte fuori queste, affacciamoci sulla ringhiera e facciamo fuori gli altri due scagnozzi dei Forelli che stanno salendo le scale. Scendiamo le scale e dietro il bancone del bar ci saranno due uomini armati di Fucile a pompa, facciamo fuori anche questi e dirigiamoci verso le cucine dove incontreremo uno scagnozzo che spunterà dalla stanza rotolando, un’altro dentro la stanza davanti l’ingresso e l’ultimo dietro il bancone della cucina. Ripulito l’interno, usciamo sul retro del locale dove Forelli sarà nascosto dietro un cassonetto e sarà protetto da quattro scagnozzi, basterà far fuori Forelli, ma dedicatevi anche agli scagnozzi se volete stare qualche altro secondo a …

Bon Iver at AIR Studios (4AD/Jagjaguwar Session)

4AD and Jagjaguwar have collaborated on a live session that captures a truly unique Bon Iver performance, featuring Justin Vernon and Sean Carey. On recent tours fans will have become accustomed to seeing Vernon flanked by an eleven-piece band, with the swell in numbers lending a grandiose element to even his most delicate songs. Sidestepping expectations, the idea Vernon presented for this session was to provide a wildly different experience. Recorded in AIR Studio’s Lyndurst Hall – a building that was originally a church and missionary school designed in 1880 by the great Victorian architect Alfred Waterhouse (designer of the Natural History Museum) – Vernon was joined only by Carey, with the pair positioning themselves opposite one another at two grand pianos. Although neither Justin nor Sean’s first instrument is piano, they were able to remodel the songs in a way that showcases their complimentary vocals and, perhaps more strikingly, a seemingly effortless ability to experiment with form and structure. As such, fans are treated to jaw-dropping interpretations of several songs from both the new album and the ‘Blood Bank’ EP, as well as a cover of Bonnie Raitt’s “I Can’t Make You Love Me”. And interpretation is an apt word, as these songs are artfully abstracted from their original incarnations. Rather than layer the sound as on ‘Bon Iver, Bon Iver’, the focus is on paring back, in part evoking the minimalist approach of contemporary classical music, while remaining …
