Really clever. Deeply intelligent. Primal subtle execution. Heart > memory > stomach > throat > tear duct > stomach. Repeat

where Laura Potter slides down the wall is just brilliant.

The choreographer calls this the ‘knot’ dance. Before it happens, the two girls here were in a club. The girl dancing picked the guy up there, while the girl watching tried and failed to do the same. The dance/lighting represents the building of an intimate, exclusive relationship. The onlooker is jealous and feels inadequate. She is actually the main character in the production, although they all do an amazing job. The DVD is a few hundred $ in Aust.. don’t know where else it’s available.?

  17. gracielouwagon says:

It wouldnt stink, really, for you to analyse. The movements are quite obvious and easy to interpret, especially in this segment. It’s pretty hard to miss.

I also saw this video in my class of modern dance. I saw the part after this and I can say that the woman dancing is not the woman that is watching. This group of dancers are very very good !

  19. lazeeria says:

sorry by my grammar, i´m still studying english :P

  20. lazeeria says:

i saw this video recently at school class, we were supposed to analyze it and i had believe the woman’s watching is the same woman who’s dancing. maybe i’m wrong, but the teacher couldn´t answer me…does everyone know??
